Eastgate Shopping Centre
IN A NUTSHELL:
We were employed by Eastgate shopping centre to create a campaign that would target locals and highlight the benefits of purchasing fresh food from their specialty retailers.
We developed a campaign titled “Freshness is Close to Home” which encouraged locals to utilise the specialty fresh food retailers in the shopping centre in order to gain entry into a promotional competition boasting a series of compelling prizes.
We created an identity for the promotion and a series of advertisements to be featured inside the shopping centre. We also produced a branded jute shopping bag which reinforced the campaign message that was to be given to customers to help make their fresh-food shopping experience easier and more memorable.
The second phase of the campaign focused around raising awareness of the retailers themselves and their unique offerings.
We conducted a series of photo-shoots that set out to capture these retailers in their natural environments (their stores) – doing what they do best. These images were used in a series of print advertisements and social media advertising that aimed to “introduce” local customers to these retailers.
